haysmacintyre promotes four to partner as firm focuses on continued sector and service specialisation

MSI’s UK accounting member haysmacintyre has recently announced the promotion of Danielle Ford, Jake Pearlman, Jane Askew and Mark Baycroft to Partner.

These promotions come as haysmacintyre continues to build a market-leading and forward-thinking firm that can further enrich the quality of service delivery, depth of expertise across its specialist services and sectors and further develop its people.

Danielle is a leading specialist in tax disputes and resolutions and has over 20 years of experience advising businesses and individuals on their tax affairs. Head of haysmacintyre’s fast-growing Tax Disputes & Resolutions team, Danielle advises clients on complex matters including COP8 and COP9 cases, tax avoidance schemes, disputes, and negotiations with HMRC. As Partner, she will continue to lead and grow haysmacintyre’s offering and team in this area.

Jake trained and qualified at haysmacintyre and has developed specialist expertise and a strong client base within the property sector. He co-leads the firm’s property team and has led a number of high-value deals on IPSX, the dedicated property exchange. Jake advises entrepreneurial companies and large property companies on audit engagements, corporate transaction services and delivers best in class insight to the wider property market. He also assists in the running of our market-leading audit department and has been listed in the Accountancy Age UK Top 35 under 35 in December 2019. Jake’s promotion to Partner will see him focus on further building haysmacintyre’s property specialism and team.

Having first joined haysmacintyre as a graduate trainee in the audit department in 2008, Jane then qualified in 2011 and has since specialised in the not for profit sector. Jane is the head of haysmacintyre’s Arts & Culture team, where she provides clients with audit and advisory services, assistance with creative tax relief claims, structures and benchmarking. As Partner, Jane will build on haysmacintyre’s specialist foothold in Arts & Culture, growing the Firm’s profile and expertise in this interesting area.

Mark specialises in building out our tax technical team, offering specialist advisory services and advice to owner managed businesses and their shareholders and directors. Mark has a particular interest in reorganisations and reconstructions, alongside property taxes. He regularly lectures and chairs discussion groups on a variety of tax topics, including SDLT, business sales and the annual Budget statement and has real breadth of expertise across all areas of the tax industry. Mark will be integral to driving haysmacintyre’s tax advisory offering, developing an expert team and continuing to provide specialist tax advisory expertise to the Firm’s valued clients.
