Lester Aldridge appoints first Chief Information Officer

As CIO, John will oversee technology, information security and data protection, and will be part of the Senior Leadership Team.

John brings over 30 years of experience leading technology and innovation teams and successfully driving businesses through evolution. He has extensive experience in change and project management within business operations but is passionate about the impact that great technology and processes can have on the people who engage with them.  He brings a unique perspective in how technology can not only protect clients but significantly improve the experience they have.  Operational benefits will also enable the LA team to spend more time engaging with clients.

John is known for his calm leadership style and ability to translate complex technical issues into practical business decisions. He specialises in stabilising core platforms, improving operational resilience, and delivering change.  His focus is on making systems reliable, secure, and genuinely supportive of the needs of the people using it, rather than pursuing technology for its own sake.
