Lee Bolton Monier-Williams closes high value acquisition for US based company
MSI’s London based law member Lee Bolton Monier-Williams has recently completed a company acquisition for a US based company referred, originally, by MSI’s Wisconsin law member Mawicke & Goisman.
Mawicke & Goisman put their client, a large international training and consultancy organisation, in touch with Lee Bolton Monier-Williams to assist with their legal requirements in the UK. Over the last 10 years Lee Bolton Monier-Williams has advised the client on and off on UK employment and data protection issues.
Earlier this year, the client instructed Lee Bolton Monier-Williams to assist with the multi-million pound acquisition of a UK educational training company. A team from Lee Bolton Monier-Williams, led by Ed Henderson, closed the transaction successfully having given in-depth advice on intellectual property, that being a fundamental aspect of the seller's business, earn-out and the retention of the two individual sellers who had started the business and were intrinsic to its success.
The US client is private equity backed. Lee Bolton Monier-Williams are acting for another US private equity firm purchasing a wine company at the moment. The UK (Brexit or no Brexit) remains open for business!
