MSI's UK South Coast law firm member Lester Aldridge advised Fairline Yachts Limited, a special purpose acquisition vehicle established by a group of long term UK-based Russian investors, in connection with its purchase of assets from Fairline Boats Limited (In Administration).
The investors are highly experienced in managing and developing marine businesses and in the production of high technology products, IT and media services. Fairline Boats was a British luxury motor yacht builder, which started trading in 1963, and had manufacturing bases in Oundle and Corby in Northamptonshire.
Fairline Yachts will ensure that the Fairline name continues to be known for designing and manufacturing first class luxury motor yachts, ensuring the continuity of a brand long associated with the yachting world. It will operate from its manufacturing base in Oundle.
