Schmidt Brunet Litzler appoints new partner

MSI's French Paris based law member Schmidt Brunet Litzler is delighted to announce that Marie André-Nivet has been promoted to partner.

Marie André-Nivet holds a Master II in Intellectual Property and a Masters Degree in Information Technology and Communication Law. She started her career in 2005 as an in-house lawyer in RTL Group's Radio Department and then worked in the Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel's Litigation Department. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2010 and joined Delphine Brunet–Stoclet's team at Schmidt Brunet & Associés law firm, which then became Schmidt Brunet Litzer in 2015. Marie André-Nivet mainly provides legal advice to companies, creators and designers on strategies for the protection of intellectual property rights and the protection of such rights. In this context, she has gained vast experience in this domain. She assists a large number of companies and business owners in the optimisation, structuring and growth of their brand and model portfolios as well as providing litigation advice. Thanks to her professional experience as an in-house lawyer, she provides down-to-earth advice to the firm's clients as she is very much aware of their requirements and expectations in terms of responsiveness and efficiency.
