Maurice Phillips | Wisenberg organises staff 'bake-off' for charity

MSI's Cape Town law member Maurice Phillips | Wisenberg has planned a host of MSI Month activities to promote MSI.

On 28 September, the firm will host a fun and engaging staff lunch enabling its team to network and learn more about MSI Global Alliance. As part of the lunch, Maurice Phillips | Wisenberg will host a bake-off session during which 10 of its staff members will bake treats for a local children's home, which the team will visit later that day. Team members will visit and spend time at the Christine Revell House in Athlone, Cape Town (“the House”), a children's home which provides full-time care for 49 babies and/or children from birth to the age of 5 years. Many of the children are from the street or have been referred to the House by social workers or the Children’s Court. The House accepts these children who are often neglected, abandoned, abused or orphaned irrespective of their race, gender or HIV status. The House is consistently in need of support from the community in order to cater for all the children and Maurice Phillips | Wisenberg is hoping that they will provide some much needed relief and joy to the young children on the day. MSI Month, is an internal marketing campaign of MSI, during which member firms from around the world showcase their international capabilities to staff, clients and prospects in a joint effort to create greater awareness of MSI.
