Meet Cindy Frey: Strengthening member connections across the Americas

Cindy brings a passion for the accounting profession and building business relationships. We caught up with Cindy to find out more about her background, and what she’s bringing to the MSI membership.

I look forward to deepening relationships and learning more about our members. As well as building engaging events that facilitate member relationships. 

Tell us a bit about your role at MSI Global Alliance

I joined MSI Global Alliance as the Americas Director of Member Relations in late May 2026. I enjoy working in the accounting industry, collaborating with members and bringing value to their firms.
 

What would you like to achieve in the remainder of 2026?

Between now and the end of the year, my goals included getting to know as many members as possible through one-on-one conversations, virtual meetings and travelling to my first MSI International Conference in Singapore.
 

An unexpected place or country your work or life has taken you to?

I can honestly say that I never would have expected to travel anywhere as part of my career as a CPA. I am blessed to have visited my neighbors in North America. My farthest journey was to a conference in Tokyo, which was a treat.

But my favorite trip was to Germany and Austria, which are a big part of my family's heritage. 
 

My favourite thing to do is….. 

Spend time with family, especially around the holidays and special events.

We look forward to seeing Cindy build new relationships and help our Americas members make the most of being part of the MSI Global Alliance community.
