Moneris Group develops internationalisation programs

Working closely with a number of different Chambers of Commerce in Portugal, MSI's Portuguese accounting member Moneris Group is developing a number of internationalisation programs, supported by the EU Grants & Incentives that are available.

Great Britain, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg and Mexico are the target markets the firm is currently working on; through the roll-out of a set of actions of international business promotion and marketing, namely:
  • Accompanying Portuguese companies on trade missions to the targeted markets;
  • Organising inverse trade missions, whereby we will be receiving business partners and buyers from the defined countries; and
  • Attending international fairs on previously set areas of focus.
The firm has been advising hundreds of companies in their internationalisation process, whether they are Portuguese companies chasing new markets or foreign companies planning to invest in Portugal or uphold and expand their trading activities with the Portuguese market. The firm's consultants are proficient in a number of languages and have the expertise to advise companies at different stages of their internationalisation process, namely:
  • Identifying and screening relevant target markets;
  • Preparing market studies and performing a benchmark analysis;
  • Defining the best applicable market entry strategy;
  • Analysing tax, labour and legal landscape on which businesses will be developed;
  • Determining the framework for grants and Incentive Schemes that are available and other sources of financing;
  • Participating in business missions – in partnership with Business Associations or Chambers of Commerce;
  • Accompanying enterprises on commercial prospecting visits;
  • Structuring the Business Plan;
  • Outlining the Marketing Plan for addressing new markets.
