In her new role, Cindy will support the development and quality of MSI's membership across the Americas region, with a focus on strengthening member collaboration and driving regional growth.

Cindy brings extensive experience in the accounting association sector. She joins MSI from AGN International, where she spent over eight years in senior leadership roles, most recently as Regional Director overseeing member programmes, outreach and development across the Americas.

Prior to AGN, she held roles at the AICPA (Association of International Certified Professional Accountants), where she developed strong expertise in firm services, member programmes, and practice management.

Cindy succeeds Susan Greene, Director of Member Relations, Americas, who retires at the end of June.

Commenting on her appointment, Cindy Frey said, “I am grateful for the opportunity to work with MSI and their reliable member firms. Having known Susan for more than five years, I am familiar with the legacy of service and relationship-building that she leaves behind in her retirement. I hope to earn the same confidence in my role supporting the Americas region.”

Jeremy Beard, Director of the MSI Board, said, “We are delighted to welcome Cindy to the MSI Secretariat. With her extensive background in accounting association management and member development, she is ideally suited to support and grow our MSI membership across the Americas region. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Susan Greene for her outstanding contribution to the Americas. Susan joined MSI in 2020 and has had a huge influence in maintaining and developing our presence in the Americas region over that time, and built a great rapport with our members.  We wish her all the best for her very well-deserved retirement."
