Pozo & Asociados' founding partner receives special recognition award

MSI's Bolivian accounting member Pozo & Asociados CPS SRL is delighted to announce that the firm's founding partner Mr. Enrique Pozo Balderrama was recognised by the College of Auditors & Public Accountants La Paz for his outstanding contribution to the accounting profession.

During a ceremony commemorating the 27 year anniversary of the College of Auditors & Public Accountants La Paz (CAULP), Mr. Enrique Pozo Balderrama received a special distinction for "his meritorious institutional work, contributing significantly to the strengthening of the Bolivian and Latin accounting profession”. Enrique Pozo Balderrama was awarded the recognition on 17 August 2018 by Mr. Ezequiel Paniagua, President of the College of Auditors of Bolivia and the Latin American Integration Committee and Gustavo Gil, President of CILEA. Enrique served on the CAULP Technical Council for several years and was elected President of the Association of Audit Firms of Bolivia, having been an active professional in the development of the accounting profession. The College of Auditors of Bolivia was founded on 19 July 1989. On 23 August, the first Board of Directors of the College of Auditors of Bolivia was formed under the Presidency of Mr. Hernan Fernandez Poblete, who founded the College of Auditors or Public Accountants of La Paz (CAULP) in 1991.
