Bowditch & Dewey appoints restructuring and insolvency expert

Christopher M. Condon, a seasoned commercial restructuring and insolvency litigation attorney, has joined MSI's Massachusetts law member Bowditch & Dewey as a partner.

Condon advises clients on lasting and practical distressed asset solutions. He has more than 20 years of experience and has counseled clients across a broad spectrum of business sectors, including biotech, medical, construction and real estate. Condon has a track record of success, representing clients in restructuring matters in both formal bankruptcy proceedings, as well as out-of-court workouts and refinancings. His practice focuses on assisting companies and individuals in navigating economic distress.

“We are pleased to welcome Chris to the team and expect him to be a valuable resource for our clients,” said Paul C. Bauer, Bowditch’s practice area leader for real estate, finance and corporate. “His skillset will further enhance the service offerings of our broader Business & Finance practice.”

Condon utilizes a hands-on approach to provide clients with solutions in times of financial distress and to preserve value for creditors and equity holders. With decades of experience, Condon is a go-to resource for clients who face financial challenges.

Before joining Bowditch & Dewey, Condon worked as a restructuring attorney with two of Boston’s premier bankruptcy firms. A graduate of Washington and Lee University and Boston University School of Law, Condon’s practice is principally based in New England, but he has represented clients in courts throughout the United States.

“I am excited to join the growing team of accomplished attorneys at Bowditch & Dewey,” Condon said. “I look forward to introducing clients to the benefits of the firm’s diverse practice offerings and to add to the firm’s already extensive expertise.”
