Roxburgh Milkins supports the local tech industry in a strong start to 2026

MSI's Bristol-based UK law fmember Roxburgh Milkins has strengthened their connection to Bristol’s thriving technology sector by supporting new and existing tech clients with valuable deals.

CareScribe
Advised by Roxburgh Milkins and Azets, CareScribe, a Bristol-based technology provider, was able to secure investment from private equity provider, Rockpool, to accelerate its national and international growth.

Richard Purcell, CEO and co-founder of CareScribe, said: "CareScribe has achieved strong momentum over the past few years, and this partnership with Rockpool gives us the platform to build on that progress. Their experience in scaling software businesses, combined with a shared belief in the importance of inclusive technology, makes them a strong partner as we enter our next phase of growth."

Fundamentals
More tech-based activity of which Roxburgh Milkins was a key part this year was the acquisition of Fundamentals Ltd by EA Technology, which will bolster the UK’s grid system and engineering capabilities. The RM team worked closely with Evolve Corporate Finance to advise Fundamentals Ltd and its shareholders on the deal.

"Our acquisition of Fundamentals represents a first step in a programme of M&A activity for the business,” said Amanda Mesler, executive chair at EA Technology, “It is not only a leading Automatic Voltage Control (AVC) technology provider, it comes with deep technical talent, long term expertise and established customer relationships, which are complementary to EA Technology itself."

Cheshire Anilox Technology
Finally, Roxburgh Milkins also helped technology client Cheshire Anilox Technology realise their ambitions for their business by supporting them (alongside Shaw & Co.) with their acquisition by The Daetwyler Group, a global leader in high-precision manufacturing.

Combined with other sale transactions in the wealth management sector and assisting a care provider with their latest franchise agreement, Roxburgh Milkins have already started the year well and are soon to be joined by new recruits to further strengthen their team.

Ian Grimley, IT and Commercial Director at Roxburgh Milkins, said:   “We’ve worked in the tech sector for over 20 years and it’s very positive to see so much activity already in January.  It’s a good sign for the M&A market in the region and in the UK generally, and good for our clients who want to secure the next phase of growth for their businesses”.
