Taylor Porter expands medical malpractice and healthcare team

MSI's Louisiana law member is pleased to welcome Tara S. Bourgeois, Garrett S. Callaway, Jonathan E. Thomas, Janie L. Coles, and Nancy B. Roberts enhancing the firm's medical malpractice and healthcare practice.

Tara S. Bourgeois focuses her practice primarily on the defense of medical malpractice claims and healthcare litigation. She defends physicians and other medical professionals and entities in all aspects of malpractice claims, including medical review panel proceedings, lawsuits, trials, and appeals. Tara also advises healthcare providers regarding risk management, regulatory compliance, licensing and credentialing, and healthcare administration. Ms. Bourgeois earned her J.D. from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1999.

Garrett S. Callaway has experience representing physicians and healthcare providers in malpractice lawsuits, medical review panel proceedings, and before the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. She also advises healthcare providers regarding risk management issues and healthcare administration. Ms. Callaway earned her J.D./B.C.L. from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2007.

Jonathan E. Thomas represents physicians, healthcare providers, and entities in medical review panel proceedings, medical malpractice lawsuits, and matters pending before the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. Jon also advises physicians, healthcare providers, and small businesses in regulatory compliance, risk management, licensing and credentialing, and other matters. Mr. Thomas received his J.D./D.C.L., cum laude, from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2015.

Janie L. Coles practices in medical malpractice defense. She has extensive experience representing physicians and healthcare providers in medical malpractice lawsuits and medical review panel proceedings. Janie advises healthcare providers regarding risk management, regulation compliance, and licensing and credentialing. She received her J.D. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1991.

 

Nancy B. Roberts practices primarily in medical malpractice defense. She has experience representing physicians and healthcare providers in malpractice lawsuits and medical review panel proceedings. Ms. Roberts received her J.D./B.C.L. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2005.
