Trenam Law expands healthcare practice with three attorneys

MSI's Florida law member Trenam Law is pleased to announce the expansion of its healthcare practice with three attorneys joining the firm’s Business Transactions group in the Tampa office.  Erin Smith Aebel and Kathleen M. Bickelhaupt join as shareholders along with associate Amanda J. Newlon.  The three attorneys join Trenam from Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick’s Tampa office.

“We are delighted to welcome Erin, Kathleen and Amanda to team Trenam,” said Marie Tomassi, President and Managing Shareholder of Trenam.  “The healthcare industry is a vital and essential part of the Tampa Bay community, and the addition of these attorneys further advances our commitment to excellent service for clients in this highly-regulated sector.  The combination of Kathleen’s extensive mergers and acquisitions experience and Erin’s broad based health law knowledge make them a highly sought after team for significant health care transactions. They look forward to growing their health care transactions practice at Trenam as leaders in this field. Their arrival builds on our existing group of talented attorneys who counsel in business and corporate related transactions, and healthcare regulation and compliance.” “I am excited to join Trenam Law and be part of a home-grown Tampa Bay law firm,” said Aebel. “The firm’s culture, including a significant amount of women attorneys in leadership roles, is an important reason for me to make this move.  I am fortunate that Kathleen and Amanda will be joining Trenam as well.
