Today, we are delighted to spotlight Luani Panceras, Audit Director at MSI’s accounting member firm JSA Audit Ltd in New Zealand. Her dedication to audit excellence and professional growth reflects the values at the heart of MSI.

For Luani, inspiration comes from helping organisations gain clarity and confidence in their financial reporting.

“What inspires me most is helping organisations achieve clarity and confidence in their financial reporting. It inspires me also to do better when they appreciate the audit recommendations and improvements we suggest for their internal controls.”

Her work reflects a commitment not only to technical excellence, but to strengthening the foundations that allow organisations to operate with confidence and accountability.

In 2025, Luani reached an important professional milestone:

“I am very proud of the fact that I gained Public Practice Certificate mid-2025 and Qualified Auditor Status in the 3rd quarter and have started signing off audit reports by the end of the year. It reflects years of hard work and many lessons along the way. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my family and colleagues.”

Achieving her Public Practice Certificate marks a significant step in her career, one that speaks to perseverance, dedication, and the strength of the support around her.

Her advice to other women in the profession is grounded in both confidence and community:

“I would encourage other women to trust their skills, keep learning, and support one another. I work with a lot of women, and I can say there are many talented women in this field. Together we can make a difference.”

“Being a member of MSI Global Alliance on International Women’s Day 2026 reminds me how important it is to celebrate, support, and lift up women in our profession worldwide. Attending MSI international conferences has been inspiring, learning about other women and what they have achieved.”
