Aquaxis Law Office
Many of our lawyers have in-house legal experiences or have been seconded to the legal departments of companies, and thus, we understand the importance of providing our clients with advice that specifically relates to their business and can be practically applied to resolve their legal issues or reduce their legal risks.
The name of our firm, Aquaxis, reflects this. It is actually a combination of two words, “Aqua” and “Axis”. Aqua being water, and similar to how water always flows and coexists with the earth and shapes it, we would like to have a similar close existence with our clients. Axis reflects the members of our firm and how we are used to working together as one united team, using our collective knowledge to solve our clients’ issues.
Another aspect of our firm which we believe makes us unique in Japan is that we practice diversity at our firm. Five of our ten attorneys are women and given Japan’s low percentage of women lawyers, having half of the firm as women is, we think, a clear indication of our commitment to diversity.
